Paula joined the greenwerk. in February 2024 as Senior Advisor Climate Finance to support the team in the development of climate finance projects. Before her engagement with the greenwerk., she gained valuable experience working on sustainable policies and programmes in collaboration with both private and public sectors. She’s skilled in areas like project formulation and review of climate change mitigation and adaptation, GHG accounting, design of financing instruments and investment frameworks, stakeholder’s consultations, and data-driven decision making. Over the years, Paula has collaborated with initiatives from different entities and funds, such as GCF, GEF, MAF, Adaptation Fund, the European Commission, EBRD, GIZ, FAO, UNDP, and UNIDO, in the EMEA, LAC, and APAC regions.
Paula's academic background is in Architecture, coupled with her master's studies in Sustainability Science from the Polytechnic University of Catalunya (Spain) and Energy from the National University of Rosario (Argentina). She started her professional career working in the construction sector, and shifted to the environmental sector working for the Environmental Protection Agency of Buenos Aires on topics related to energy planning and climate change. Transitioning into consultancy roles in topics related to Climate Change, Energy, and Sustainability, she worked independently as a freelance and supported companies such as Endrava AS (Norway), Deloitte (Norway), and E Co Ltd. (UK). At the greenwerk, Paula is instrumental in advising on low-carbon pathways, crafting funding proposals for international donors, and facilitating capacity-building initiatives in international entities and governments.
