Hannah joined the greenwerk. in July 2023 as Advisor Mitigation and Climate Finance to support the team with GHG mitigation projects and carbon footprinting. Before her engagement with the greenwerk., Hannah acquired valuable skills and insights as CSR Consultant at a German strategy and communications consultancy. She assisted the development of sustainability strategies for clients from the real estate, transportation, and renewable energy sectors. Hannah not only supported the calculation of GHG Protocol compliant company carbon footprints, but also guided the setting of science-based reduction targets. Moreover, she conducted materiality assessments to define relevant and impactful ESG topics, defined potential ESG targets, measures, and KPIs. Hannah is up to date on EU sustainability regulations (EU Taxonomy, CSRD, SFDR, Supply Chain Act) and she is an expert in target-specific communication of sustainability efforts.

Hannah gained work experience in international development collaboration between her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in economics from Ludwig-Maximilians-University, Munich. As a Junior Advisor she inter alia supported the preparation of a feasibility study for an infrastructure project in the Democratic Republic of Congo and the evaluation of a Syrian microfinance institution’s products and management structure. In 2019, Hannah assisted the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) New York office as an intern. Her skill in drafting quality talking points and background notes was harnessed for many briefings, conferences, and meetings on a range of topics related to UNCTAD’s mandate, including private sector engagement and sustainability reporting as well as challenges and opportunities in impact investment.
